I don't consider myself to be a "normal" writer. Unlike most writers, I didn't have a clue that I even wanted to write until I was almost 30. I wasn't exactly a total slacker in school, but I was definitely a reluctant reader. I only read what I had to. I didn't see any reason to read when I could dream. I lived to daydream--which is why I was such a mediocre student. Then, when I was 26 years old, my sister got me started reading Victoria Holt novels, and I began to realize that what my teachers had always said was true, Reading Is Fun! The more I read, the more I daydreamed, making up stories in my head. Finally I decided to just do it, write books. Now, here I am, fifteen years later (if you've been keeping up with the math you will probably figure out that I am ancient) publishing my first novel for young adults. I'm sure that since I never learned to stop daydreaming, I'll never stop writing.

I might be a bit partial, but I loved the book. It had a little of everything in it. Mystery, romance, adventure, suspense. Definitely a great book for guys and girls. If you haven't read it pick up a copy today! And of course I would read more books featuring Amanda (and Kyler!).
Just finished reading, and the scene in the barn, where characters are laid out cold, was hysterical! A total surprise, and a fun read. a
